By perseverance and consistent efforts, FootPrints, which started with a paper presentation event in 2001 inaugurated by Shri. Narayan Murthy, has now become the largest technical fiesta of Gujarat. FootPrintsX7 gave a platform to young minds from all over India to showcase their technical skills. Robowar, car race, structure development events, coding events, weaving competitions and events based on complex chemical composition were the technical events featured in FootPrintsX7. The Guest Lecture series comprised of Dr.-Ing Ulrich Bez: non executive chairman-Aston Martin, Mark Edward:skeptic psychic entertainer, H.Siddesha: project director of LCA,ADA, Subramanian Swamy : economist. Web virtual reality(Mozilla Firefox), Progressive Web application(Google Developers Group) and Biped robotics (Robokart) were the workshops conducted. The event had a musical ending with mesmerizing concert of youth sensation Amaal Mallik.

Believing in reflecting joy,imparting knowledge and providing the impoverished with the needy stationaries, FootPrints has adopted 2 villages : Umarva and Shahpura under the segment FootPrints Social Responsibility and every year FootPrints extend its arms wider than before to the people of these villages. FootPrints also created Guinness World Record for the largest paper bag in the year 2014.

Ready for a new itineration, FootPrintsX8 is about to take off. Await for the winds of winter to feel the rush of technicality.
